Sam Lawson, Managing Director

Sam is an Australian-based recruitment executive with 15 years’ experience in board, executive and staff recruitment. He is the Managing Director of two recruitment businesses, Regent Recruitment and Wallage Executive, each with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. He also founded the Australian Personnel Consortium, a national network of recruitment organisations.

Sam has a strong interest in recruitment methodologies, technologies and recruitment industry developments in general. As a practicing Migration Agent and Real Estate Agent, he is able to advise organisations looking to relocate executives to Australia.

Sam is a past Vice President of the Vic/Tas Division of the recruitment industry’s representative body, the RCSA, and is a past member of the RCSA’s Ethics Committee. Prior to his involvement in the recruitment sector, he worked in financial services as an Institutional Client Advisor, specialising in Equity Derivatives. He currently holds directorships in the recruitment, real estate, tourism and investment sectors.

Howard Mereine, Group General Manager

Howard is responsible for the overall operations and performance of the company. Holding qualifications in Commerce and Law, he is an experienced General Manager, who has worked in the recruitment, outsourcing and telecommunications industries in Australia for over 20 years.

Howard brings expertise in high-level contract management as well as extensive experience in the provision of outsourced solutions. As Regent’s Group General Manager, Howard has enhanced the presence of the organisation considerably by concentrating on first-class customer service and streamlining recruitment technologies and methodologies.

Anastasia Liberatos, Business Manager

Taking a ‘hands-on’ approach, Anastasia works closely with our account management teams to ensure that projects run smoothly and that both client and employee interests are met. As a member of the senior management team, she plays a key role in the development of company and client strategy.

Prior to entering the recruitment industry, Anastasia worked as a Senior Team Manager in contact centres, and also as a Senior Account Manager and Quality Assurance Manager in the pharmaceutical industry. Anastasia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science with majors in biochemistry and microbiology.

Carina Mitsinikos, Business Operations Manager

Carina has a wealth of recruitment industry experience, supported by her Bachelor of Economics and Post-graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations. She has excelled in a variety of recruitment roles including consulting, account management and induction & training.

Having completed Quality and OH&S accreditation training, Carina has also held a number of positions as Quality, Privacy, EEO and OH&S Coordinator. As Business Operations Manager, she ensures company-wide compliance with all processes and policies. Carina was responsible for achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification of Regent’s Quality Management System, and coordinates ongoing internal and external quality audits.
