Regent
expands Healthcare portfolio
Melbourne, 2 October 2009. Regent
Recruitment has signalled a return to the Allied Health sector, with the appointment
of Andy Almond as its Healthcare Manager. In his new role, Andy will specialise
in the recruitment of Allied Health and Social Work professionals within the clinical
and vocational rehabilitation related sectors.
Andy's
role complements Regent's existing Home and Community Care (HACC) Division, which
supplies and rosters Home Care, Personal Care, Respite Care and administration
staff to Local Government throughout Australia. "I'm looking forward to providing
the same quality of service to the Allied Health sector that Regent offers in
HACC," Andy said. "Clients and staff in these fields require an extra
level of care and attention, and I'm excited to be joining a company that clearly
understands this need."
Prior to joining Regent,
Andy worked as a Business Manager for a number of specialist global recruitment
businesses within the Healthcare arena, both in Australia and the UK. His extensive
experience adds a new dimension to Regent's Healthcare portfolio at a time when
demand for Allied Health professionals is growing.
"The
healthcare industry faces a number of challenges in recruiting and retaining high-calibre
staff. With a unique combination of advanced recruitment systems and healthcare
experience, Regent is well placed to serve this important and growing sector,"
he said. - [ ends
