Veena works as an Alerts Consultant with Telstra’s Deployment Control group at Hawthorn, Victoria. She was nominated by her Team Leader for her achievements in assisting another team on a project that was unrelated to her usual line of work.

“Veena was given one day’s training on the new systems required for the project and, within a day or so, the number of tasks she was completing far outnumbered expectations. Veena was requested to work additional hours to assist reducing the back log affecting our customers and she had no issues with this and the project was completed well ahead schedule. The project manager gave great feedback regarding Veena's performance, work rate and work ethic, and made me proud to have her in my team.”
