Call Centre. She has been doing a great job there, as the testaments from Canberra
Connect show: Eileen joined Canberra Connect as part of
an information line for one of our clients. She has proven to be flexible, efficient,
and knowledgeable. A valuable member of the Managed Services Team, Eileen can
be counted on to cover a shift whenever we are short staffed, and will happily
work with any group. She has a friendly, effervescent personality, and is a real
asset to the team. Eileen is an extremely valuable
person to have on board as she is so adaptable to change, which is important for
us as our contact centre is very dynamic in its needs! Congratulations

area of Telstra’s TN&S Service Delivery group.
Ewa has a well-earned reputation
for being a hard worker who always gives 100%. Ewa’s Team Leader spoke highly
of her achievements in the Review Team: “She
just puts her head down and keeps ploughing through the work. Ewa is very flexible
and has never said no when I ask if she can stay back later than her finish time,
or if she can come in earlier. She recently stepped up to be trained in scheduling,
and now assists our team covering lunch breaks.”

Dean Baxter!

has come a long way since starting at Canberra Connects Call Centre in October
2007. He recently moved up to a Branch Training Officer role and, in mid-February,
is starting as the acting Team Leader! Canberra Connect is extremely happy with
Deans performance: Dean has been of immense value
to Canberra Connect since he joined the team and has really come to the fore in
recent times. He has taken on responsibility for ensuring that exceptional levels
of customer service are maintained across a specialised line of business. His
performance in this role has led to his involvement in developing training presentations
for the team, and opportunities to act in higher positions such as Branch Training
Officer and (shortly) Canberra Connect Core Team, Team Leader. He
is energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, personable, flexible around the needs
of our workplace and always very approachable a real asset to our team!

Joy Nicolas!

Joy Nicolas started with Regent when she commenced
an assignment for the City of Moreland in February as a Personal Carer. From my
first meeting with Joy, I was impressed by the sincere manner in which she spoke
about her interest in helping and supporting others. Joy has assisted her family
to a degree that would not be expected of such a young person and she has certainly
transferred her care and attention to the elderly residents she takes care of
on behalf of the City of Moreland.
Since working with Regent, Joy has
been a reliable and committed worker, always kept in touch and asked for help
when needed. She understands the consequences for her elderly clients if she is
not able to be at work, so is very reliable. I consider this award a very small
gesture to thank Joy for her wonderful efforts to bring comfort to her elderly
clients and the considerate and courteous manner in which she interacts with the
staff at the City of Moreland and at Regent.

Connie Hajiliassis!

Regent
is proud to have a team of healthcare workers who demonstrate the combination
of expert skills and personal qualities that are required to work successfully
in the Home and Community Care field. These qualities are highly valued and acknowledged
by our clients who continue to give us positive feedback our staff. This
month we would like to recognize Connie Hajiliassis , one of our Home Carers who
has been working for Regent with a local council. After a career in childcare,
Connie decided to focus her skill on the provision for care for the elderly. Home
Care provides a vital service to support elderly people in their own homes. Carers
like Connie assist with household chores but most importantly, care
about their clients and provide some friendly social interaction. Connie has proved
to be an energetic and thoughtful home carer who has been a role model in this
field.
We would like to thank Connie for her commitment and recognize
that the work she does makes a very positive difference to the quality of life
of her elderly clients.

temp of the month is Jayde Firns, currently working at VicRoads.
Jayde
has recently successfully completed the Pola Licence Testing Course. This is a
complex 8 day training course and Jayde excelled at this, and has conducted herself
in a very professional manner - with a maturity well beyond her years. Jayde is
also a very contentious and willing worker, who is very popular amongst other
staff members. Jayde has really excelled with Vic Roads since undertaking the
role in March this year, and has shown that she has all the attributes for success
in the future.

have only joined Regent recently, but what an impact she has made! Vicki started

name comes up most regularly in the team leaders' one-on-ones with the other staff
who make comments such as 'Vicki is always dependable', 'good at her job', can
be relied upon to assist with the right answer', 'is always good for a laugh when

Walters as Regents Star Temp of the Month for February! Victoria has played
an integral part in the smooth running of our Adelaide healthcare division. As
well as completing her regular roster as a Home Carer she has gone beyond the
call of duty many times, making herself available when unforeseeable circumstances
have arisen such as absences, emergencies and additional client requests. Victoria
understands the importance that a Home Carer plays within the community and how
many less fortunate people have come to rely on her. Victoria is always willing
to help no matter how big or small the job may be and maintains her usual cheer
and enthusiasm for every job. Regent as well as our Adelaide clients are grateful

centre at King's Meadows, Tasmania, has recently been taking on a number of extra
duties, over and above those expected. The area that he has been working in for
the past 3.5 years has been under going a restructure. He has been training all
of the new staff that are going to be working within this area. John has displayed
an extremely professional and positive attitude throughout the training and all

| Megan started working with Regent Recruitment
in August 2004 when she joined the VicRoads rural call centre located in Ballarat.
In November 2005 Megan moved to Melbourne and was transferred to the call centre
located in Kew. While working at VicRoads Megan has demonstrated very good adherence
to schedule, and recently has improved her overall performance meeting and exceeding
most of the call centre requirements. She is able to assist customers with complex
transactions and is able to help her colleagues when questions arise from time

Management has been with Regent for over 12 months now and during this time both
his performance and general involvement in the centre have improved out of sight.

Sam Currie has been

the skills required to perform her duties and exceed expectations producing results
that are vastly greater than average. Sam currently works on a cataloguing project
